Maison Hermès in Japan Window Display Uses Special Effects

TOKYO, JAPAN — Located in the Ginza shopping district of Tokyo, one of the most exclusive shopping areas in Japan, a new window display is attracting a lot of attention. The windows at Maison Hermès utilize a digital signage system which has video that is timed to coordinate with a hidden fan to that blows air against a Hermès scarf.

The effect, created by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, shows a close-up of a women's face gently blowing air. The scarf gently sways in the air, perfectly timed with the video and presenting an eye-catching, elegant presentation.

The windows will be on display until January 19th, 2010 - Maison Hermès (Ginza5-4-1, Chuo-Ku, Tokyo)
