 SNS Bank Introduces New Retail Concept
Utilizing Kiosks and Touch Screens
 The NETHERLANDS — SNS Bank in the Netherlands is introducing a new store concept that changes the business model for banking. 150 of SNS Bank's traditional banking offices will be replaced by the new SNS store concept. The concept will be rolled out throughout the Netherlands in more than 300 locations. The store is a place where everybody can easily go to for information and for help with banking on the internet. With this new formula SNS Bank is going to use kiosk applications on a grand scale.
The SNS store is developed in the spirit of retail stores. It is a transparent, ‘active’ environment where the customer will be welcomed by a sales consultant. The customer is able to do her banking businesses herself, maybe helped by a sales consultant, and she can orient herself on the SNS Bank's product offerings. The new SNS store is easy accessible, open and inviting.

The SNS Bank choose QYN, Narrowcasting by KPN, out of 5 parties as a partner for the development, installation, and managing of the kiosk solutions. QYN offered a fully intergraded solution which involves delivery as well as installation of hardware, software development, maintenance, and managing of the kiosk applications.
